Second Great North Run Done! Boom!

I have just about recovered I think from an absolutely amazing day with an amazing atmosphere and amazing people.

A slow start and a quick realisation that 13.1 miles is a long bloody way but I flew past planes, fire engines and bob sleds, got chased of minions, burned off a few Duracell bunnies and caught a penguin or two.

Boy it was a hot one and it was daunting and saddening to see people passing out or becoming injured (particularly on the last stretch along the sea front. My thoughts with each and every one of you.  Well done to all finishers its and amazing achievement and and utterly amazing event.

So far we have raised over £600 between us for the amazing CRUK any donations welcome 🙂

so to sign up for next year ? …..
